Obituary of Robert Vazquez

Robert Vazquez, 65, of Staten Island, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Maria for 46 years; loving father of Lisette Vazquez-Cruz, Linette Vazquez-Winter and Maria Vazquez and Father in law of Ryan Cruz and Kevin Winter; cherished grandfather of Isabela, Kevin, Sofia, Gabriela and Elena. Robert was the dear brother to his late sister Elizabeth Silveira and Lillian Vazquez. He is survived by many loving aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, cousins and friends. Robert was born in 1955 in Bronx, NY and grew up in Williamsburg where he enjoyed a very happy and active childhood. He attended SUNY Empire State College where he graduated with a Bachelor in Science. He has many friends and family that fondly remember his sense of humor, his huge heart, loyalty, dedication and compassion. He loved his family very much and the love of his life Maria. He was a family man who always put his girls first. He was a model father and husband and would spare no expense to ensure that his girls always had whatever they needed.
