My sincere condolences to the Salaycik family. I went to High School with Rosemary, and have seen her at Blessed Sacrament, the YMCA, and various celebrations of mutual friends over the years. She was a truly lovely and caring person. May you Rest In Peace Rosemary.

So many laughs and some tears,
a dear friend for many years!
Your faith, your smile, your incredible memory, your generous nature, your Hallmark cards, hearing your voice on the phone and your thoughtfulness will always hold a place in my heart. With deepest sympathy for all those who loved Rosemary.

Roe was one of the first teachers I met at PS 29. I worked with her through Project Read. John and I always remember her painting Clifford on the wall outside her classroom, it was part of New York Cares. And care she did! She will be missed. Rest in heavenly peace Roe.

Rosemary was a kind and beautiful individual, who was always so enjoyable to speak with. It was always nice seeing and interacting with her; at the Broadway YMCA, the Westerleigh AARP meetings/events, and Blessed Sacrament Church. May she Rest In Peace.

Rosie and I met while working at a summer camp. We became friends immediately. We traveled to Maine, Atlantic City, and Hawaii. She visited me in Saranac Lake. So many adventures and wonderful memories. I stayed with her on my first trip to Sloan Kettering. I will miss her cards and calls. Knowing she is united with her family in Heaven lessens my sadness. Rosemary was a dedicated, talented, and respected teacher. She will be missed by many friends and former colleagues.
She suffered much in the last few years but always kept a positive attitude and engaging smile. She was an articulate lector at mass at Blessed Sacrament Church for many years. Rest In Peace dear friend.
