Dear Linda and Family,
Our sincerest sympathy to you and your family on Bob's passing. He truly was a very special person.
The first time we met Bob was when we visited Marilyn in the hospital. Bob was so welcoming and so easy to talk to. Enjoyed many meals with him and Stan. Will miss that very much.
Please know that we are keeping you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Greg & Rose

Please accept my deepest condolences. The following words have helped many to cope with the loss of someone special. 1 Corinthians 1:3, 4 states "Praise be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials..."
Our Father, Jehovah God, will help your family and friends in such difficult times. In 1 Corinthians 15:26 he promises us that "the last enemy, death, will be brought to nothing." I hope the family and friends can find some measure of comfort in this promise.

A staple of the neighborhood Bob will be missed by all. When we first moved next door he was the first person I turned to in a time of need, and so began a friendship that would last 25 years. I already miss him singing and whistling as he did his yard work, I miss the aroma of the delicacies wafting from his grill (he would always proudly offer up a sample saying "Oh you gotta try this" and I of course would abide) but .mostly I miss his conversations about growing up upstate, his days in the Coast Guard, his time as a Police Officer working in the Bronx, and his many golf and ski outings. He would proudly go on about his family and you could feel the love. The neighborhood won't be the same without him, we love and miss you Bob.
