So many happy and fun childhood and adult memories of Anthony (I never remembered to call him Tony as we grew up). Our families never missed an opportunity to celebrate an event, or to just gather for a fun day at a pool, or a picnic, or just to play. I especially remember his and my siblings playing and exploring at the Ditmas Avenue apartment. We really kept our parents hopping. It was no secret that he loved his Yankees, and we still have the baseball mitts he got for my children on “mitt day” at Yankee stadium years ago.
Over the years, family relocations kept us apart geographically, but we still managed family time to just chat, get together for dinner, share stories and laugh. I remember when he began dating his wife, Angel. She was, and still is, so genuine, so sweet, and an absolute joy to be around. Angel, I know there are no “right words” for you now. But I pray that you somehow find peace in your heart and comfort from those you love. My deepest condolences to you and your family.
I especially send sincerest sympathies to Susan, Maria, and Frankie. Anthony was well-loved and a real gentleman. He will be missed, but never forgotten. Rest peacefully in God’s arms.
With much love and caring, cousin JoAnne

My earliest memory of Tony was playing cards with the Cisek family. I was just learning to play poker & Tony was sitting next to me & answering my questions about the game. When Tony folded, I showed him my hand to see if I had a winning hand, he kept a straight face. I’ll never forget Tony’s reaction when I played my hand. It was a Royal Flush! Tony & everyone else couldn’t believe my beginners luck!
You will always be missed Tony, Love your sister-in-law, Liz Cisek

I'm trying to find my cousin Anthony Rotunno and his brother Louis Rotunno. Anthony's father was Carmine Rotunno, and his mother was Elanor Rotunno. If you see this, please reach out to yarhielbradley@yahoo.com. It would be so appreciated. If this is who I'm looking for, we lost contact a long time ago. Have a blessed day.

Shocked and saddened to hear of Tony’s passing. We’ve been neighbors since 1993, We will miss his smile when we would talk about our grandchildren, family and the Yankees, We’ll even miss his frown when we’d talk about garbage, parking and snow. He was our neighbor and he was our friend and he will be missed…Rest In Peace Tony
Prayers and Condolences to Angel and the Rotunno family,
Noreen and Guy Petersen
