Obituary of Anthony Rotunno

Anthony Rotunno, 69, of Port Richmond, passed away on August 8th, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Angela Rotunno (Cisek) for 42 years, loving father of Allyson McGowan and her husband Andrew McGowan, Matthew Rotunno and his two beautiful grandchildren, Liam and Fiona McGowan; dear brother of Susan Romano and Maria Rotunno. Anthony was also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Rotunno was born in Manhattan and raised in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Staten Island in 1993 to raise his family. Anthony was an excellent writer, loved to read and was a die-hard NY Yankee fan. Above all he was dedicated to his family and friends, especially in times of need, he will be sorely missed. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Monday, departing at 10:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church at 11:00 am. Committal service to follow at the Rosehill Crematory. Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
