Q: How did you meet Bernadette?
A: I have known Mrs G( that’s what I called her) since the mid 1980’s!! She was always a beautiful, vain, fun MOM and GRANDMA!!She was a delicious cook and the joke between us was when she was making me her stuffed peppers again!! She always was smiling and nothing but positive words came out of her mouth when we spoke!! She was always full of compliments when it came to my family!! I was honored that she came to my wedding and saw my children be born and grow up. She had so much love in her heart for her family (especially for those grandkids)!! I will miss seeing her at family events!! Her time was too short with us!!! I hope she’s at peace now with no more pain!!!

Bernadette was a good friend. I would call her and we would talk for a long time. She was always a good listener. When my mom passed in June she called to make sure I was ok. We would talk about food and different ways to cook soups, sauce, and everything else. She loved parties and having people around. I remember the parties in the yard. I am going to miss the phone calls and her saying hi it's me Bernadette Rozzi how are you. RIP my friend no more suffering enjoy that cup of tea and your cigarette . Miss you my friend

Bernadette was a member of family to me and will certainly miss her because she was a beautiful soul.
I am standing next to all of you in this time of grief and sorrow.
Your Mother is always with you.
She's the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street
She's the smell of certain foods you eat.
She's the cool hand on your brow when your not feeling well.
She's the breath in the air on a cold winter's day.
She's is the sound of the rain that lulls you to sleep.
She's the colors of a rainbow.
She is Christmas Morning.
Your Mother lives inside your laughter.
She's the place you came from, your first home.
And she's the map you follow with every step you take.
She's your first love, your first friend even your first enemy.
But nothing on earth can separate you, not time, not space, not even death.

Our Dear Mama B,
You will be so missed. You have been in our lives for decades and have such a special place in our hearts. All our phone calls, vists and gatherings are remembered so fondly. Family, friends the outdoors and of course food meant so much to you. We are so grateful that we have always been a part of each others lives.

JUST CANT SAY ENOUGH,ABOUT HOW SPECIAL (B) WAS. SHE WAS SO UNIQUE AND ALWAYS MADE ME FEEL SPECIAL. SHE WAS THE LIFE OF THE PARTY! HER AND I WOULD ALWAYS CHAT AWAY TOGETHER AND TALK ABOUT FOOD. WHEN THE HOLIDAYS CAME AROUND THERE WAS SOMETHING ABOUT THEM THAT WHEN I WOULD TALK TO HER SHE WOULD BRING ME RIGHT BACK TO MY CHILDHOOD DAYS. THERE WAS A PEACEFUL FEELING I WOULD FEEL. I KEPT IN TOUCH WITH HER THROUGHOUT THE YEARS AND NO MATTER HOW SHE WAS FEELING SHES WAS ALWAYS UPBEAT. I WILL TRULY MISS HER. LOVE TONI

Miss Bernadette Rozzi, was always so proud of all of grandchildren. She wanted to be a part of every moment and memory. No matter how big or small the accomplishment she made us feel like we just accomplished the biggest feat ever. She was our fan, our friend and fearless leader. From little tokens at family events like candied apples, advent calendars or her latest QVC purchase she was always thinking about her grandkids. She made her children the most fun and best cooks out there and I am so grateful for that.
Bern’s phone calls are what I looked forward to the most. She’d always call and say “Hello Young Lady it’s Bernadette Rozzi” and she made sure to tell me I was doing alright in life whether that was with dating or work or navigating the city even when I felt lost the most.
I will miss her calls and her advise. Somethings will stick with me for life—always have my nails done, it’s okay to laugh at your own jokes, and being around family will always be the best moments. I hope to be half as fiery and strong as her with every year to come. I loved my Grandma Bern very much and will miss her until we meet again.

Q: What 3 words best describe Bernadette and why?
A: Bernadette is my cousin and we have been friends for 65 years. She was beautiful, energetics and unforgettable.
In our younger days, I spent many summers with her getting into more trouble than it was worth, but boy did we have fun. I will miss her dearly.
