Obituary of Eileen Forde

Eileen Patricia Forde, née Reilly, born in The Bronx, New York, passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 67. She lived in Staten Island for the past 32 years. Eileen was a very loving and caring individual, dedicated to her husband and family. Eileen is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Noel, her son, David, her daughter, Justine, and her son-in-law, Edward. She was also a cherished grandmother to Lucy. Eileen is mourned by her mother, Mary Reilly, her sisters and brothers-in-law, Maureen and James Fahey, as well as Kathleen and Daniel Kelly. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. Eileen was preceded in death by her father, George Reilly, and her brother, George Reilly Jr. Eileen had a fulfilling career as a dedicated and caring nurse at Carmel Richmond Rehabilitation Center. She touched the lives of many patients with her kindness and compassion. In her free time, Eileen enjoyed traveling, particularly to Cancun, Mexico, and going on cruises. She had a deep love for Irish music and enjoyed attending Irish festivals. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Matthew Funeral Home And Cremation Services, Inc., located at 2508 Victory Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10314, on Friday, September 29, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 9:30 am at St. Sylvester's RC Church, located at 854 Targee Street, Staten Island, New York, United States, 10304. The final resting place will be at Resurrection Cemetery, located at 361 Sharrott Avenue, Staten Island, New York, United States, 10309, at 11:00 am on the same day. Eileen Patricia Forde will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
