Obituary of Lourdesita G. Flores

Lourdesita G. Flores, 75 passed away peacefully on November 19, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Eugenio Flores, loving mother of Alejandro, Ricardo, Reynaldo and Marilyn Tirado. She is survived by 8 grandchildren (Brian, Kevin, Paolo, Mark, Melinda, Billy, David, Joshua). Lourdesita was born in Philippines and moved to Brooklyn in 1989 and finally settled in Staten Island since 2004. She was a homemaker and in her leisure time, she loved to watch shows and movies on her Ipad with her beloved husband. Known to most family members as “Nanay” which in Tagalog means mother, Lourdesita was a motherly figure to her 4 children as well as her 8 grandchildren whom she played a major role in their childhood years. Although she was soft spoken and a very quiet person, her love and care was strong enough to reach everyone. Visitation at the Matthew Funeral Home on Wednesday November 22, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 to 9:00pm. A mass will be conducted at the funeral home at 8:00pm.
