Butch and I became friends when I looked after him last year. We fished together, went shopping, enjoyed pizza at Mona Lisa’s, but the one thing we both loved was music . Particularly early rock and Elvis—anyone or any group from the late 50’s onward. He knew all the words, pauses—we even harmonized together. That gave us quite a laugh. We shared many good times and I enjoyed his company . Although he had be lost his skills by the time we met, I knew him to be accomplished in many areas: woodworking, crabbing, fishing, and playing pool. I will always remember him fondly. Rest in peace.
