Ron was my cousin, his mother and my father were siblings. I lived in Pennsylvania, but each year as a kid growing up we would go to Staten Island to visit. Ron would take me around the neighborhood where he lived showing me things that he thought I would enjoy. Then as I got older I would make the trip to Staten Island with my now wife Linda. He and his wife acathy would pick us up at the Staten Island Ferry and w would go visit our other cousins on the Island in Grant City. I remember Ron as a very good cousin and his sister Barb whom moved to the Virginias early after she married. Very sorry for your loss. Ron’s kids that I never knew but would love to meet you someday before I passed if possible. Once again, my condolences.

My condolences to Doug and his entire family on the loss of your father. I loved talking to him about Old Staten Island sports memories.

Doug, Jeff & Glenn & families, my deepest condolences. When my mom (who heard from her cousin, Elaine) told me about your dad’s passing, she and I truly shared this immense sadness. My family is very fond of both, Kathy & Ron, RIP. Rosa Pellegrini

Ronnie, you were a great friend for the past 60 years. We shared so many good times—our days at Shaskan and Co., fishing trips, our attempts at tennis, treasure hunting with the metal detector, lunches, dinners, and trips to the racetrack. And let's not forget the New Year's Eves we celebrated together. You will be greatly missed, buddy. Rest in peace.

We played sports together, ate countless pizzas together, and walked hundreds of miles together on Staten Island back before we were old enough to drive. But mostly we laughed. A lot. About everything and anything. From Port Richmond High School right through our recent lunches together at The Cheesecake Factory, Ron was one of my best and oldest friends. Well, he was one of the best, period, and I'm going to miss him. I send my condolences to the family he loved so much.
