So heartbroken over the loss of Steve. Such a fun and friendly guy for countless summers on Long Beach Island. I always knew I could count on him for a fun chat and a laugh every Saturday afternoon, talking about music, bands and other events on the island. He will be greatly missed. Prayers to Debbie, Amanda and his whole family. Tricia D

Stevie (Weevie)
Fantastic neighbor and friend growing up on Melba Street. I could never make the cut of the many sports Steve was involved in. Very active was he and often said that if he had my height he'd have been in the NBA which I could not argue with. It's a shame he was taken so suddenly. GOD Bless you Weevie - you will be remembered fondly and truly missed.
Cheers,
Christopher

My heart goes out to the Sosa family.I remember Stevio as a fierce competitor when he played with the Tufanos basball club in the late seventies and early eighties. Steve and I will always have something in common, we were born on the same day, March 9th. Rest in peace my friend.

My wife Cindy and I ran into Steve at the end of a heavy metal concert in Newark. What a surprise for me to find out that he loved his metal! I always appreciated chatting with him. He had informed opinions on many topics. His room filling spirit will be remembered...and missed.
