Dear "Mommy Annie Joanne, Pastor Joey. Malou and all the family and loved ones of "Daddy Joe"
I will always remember "Daddy" as with a gentle humble and yet humorous personality. Aling Annie and Mang Joe are called "Daddy and Mommy" in the church. For that everyone are so grateful that their children are generous enough to let them be called Daddy and Mommy by others. "Daddy Joe" was a man of few words but those words were inspiring, encouraging and wise. He will be remembered for a man who lived his life with faith to his Redeemer and Saviour, JESUS CHRIST. I believe that right now he is alive more than ever before.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this season of life.
Pastor Paul. Sister Virgie, John Paul and Mary Ruth Govindavari and Tess Serame

As a new graduate from Nursing, it was so difficult to apply for a passport. They were trying to prevent the Nursing "brain drain". Tito Joe with Caltex worked on my passport, Visa to the US and eventually i got it! I was able to join my family in Bahrain. That was the starting point of my journey to the US. Thank you Tito Joe for your tenacity.
He was a close friend to my dad an I really appreciate how he and tita Annie visited my dad in the hospital so frequently and so at home. I will never forget that. You have been a big part of my life. I know you are there with the rest of the Banaba family. I am so glad that we were neighbors and our families had become very close.
Tito Joe, I with my family will miss you very much. You have been very nice to me and the family. Love you.
