Obituary of Jose S. Mercado Sr.

Jose S. Mercado, age 89, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2020. He was the devoted son of the late Bernardo and Guadalupe Mercado. He was the beloved husband of Annie Ruth Maddela for 60 years. He was the loving father of Joanne Jimenez and her husband Ulysses, Pastor Joey Mercado and his wife Gigi and Malou M. Guglielmo and her husband Gerard. He was the dear grandpa of Jay Jimenez and Jenny Mance and her husband Marc. He was the cherished great grandpa of Mason Mance. He was the fond brother of Rose Mercado-Albuero. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, a memorial service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Saturday, 3/7/2020 at 10:00 AM.
